A Mirror in the Fog

Some days, the soul feels like a mirror wrapped in fog—everything’s blurry, unclear, undefined. But maybe the fog isn’t a failure. Maybe it’s a pause. A reminder that not everything needs to be seen right now.

We chase clarity as if it’s owed to us. But clarity, like sunrise, takes its time. It doesn’t arrive with force; it blooms with gentleness.

In these foggy seasons, I’ve learned not to force focus. Instead, I close my eyes and listen. Often, that’s when the deepest reflections come—not in light, but in trust.

What if we honored the fog? Let it soften us?
Let it remind us that even when we can’t see the road, the road still holds us.
